i have neglected this blog for too long. since no one visits here anymore, i can afford to be more bitchy elaborated. blogging used to be an everyday affair. but now, churning out paragraphs of words seem like a chore. we just switch to tumblr and re-post other people's entries, we rely on twitter as a 140-word limit journal to record our daily rantings. so much for social media tools bringing the laziness within us.

just to share an awkward moment that happened in tutorial class yesterday.

ah tiong tutor aka sounds a lot like lulu : these are the few 'may-er-men' in statstics

-everyone looks at each other in bewilderment-

lulu : these 'may-er-men' are....

finally, a brave soul : excuse me, what is 'may-er-men'?

lulu, annoyed: you dont know what is 'may-er-men'?!?!

another student : i think she means 'measurement'.

brave soul : oh, i'm sorry i couldnt understand what you said.

lulu : (stares at him)

both faces turn red.

brave soul is embarrassed.

but tutor really sees red.

oh my, never try to correct ze chinahhh akkcent.

on the (very) bright side, i got my 10% class participation just by drawing a histogram and an ogive on the board! these tutors from china so generous, me likeeeeee.
